This will be Jesse Hughes's first time coming out as Vanic in North America on stage. At 26, Vanic’s Melodic Trap infused with Future Bass established a radically different, genre-shattering style and sound. Vanic has a way of blending pulsating synths with wave basslines forming the perfect rhythm for any vocalist he features. Known for his remixes featuring Lana Del Rey, and other obscure artists. Producers like Skrillex and Knife Party have provided the primitive inspiration that reflects through his music. Vanic set out to release music that would appease anyone’s taste. Music for the people that aren’t as accustomed to Electronic Dance Music. Vanic aimed for music that stimulated an appreciation for the Trap and Dubstep listeners. All together Vanic’s music successfully engrossed the Indi listeners, accumulating fans at an excessive rate.
Producers that Vanic would look forward to working with include Keisza, Aluna George, and anyone he was worked with in the past. Vanic has acquired fame through tracks including ‘Hypnotic’ featuring Zella Day, his work with the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, and his remix of ‘Police’ from the band Some Kind of Wonderful. His rework done on The Mother We Share ft. CHVRCHES has also gained recognition. Remixes of Underground Hip Hop heroine, K. Flay including ‘The Cops’ and ‘Make Me Fade’ are tracks that are more prominently wellknown for where you can find on Soundcloud. You can catch Vanic’s first U.S. solo show at The Loft, February 20th. Mark your calendars for this Saturday if you’re looking to see EDM’s up and coming artist.
