Templo’s Talent Says More Than Hello with the Release of His EP, Never Say Goodbye

“This is probably some of the most emotional music I've made and I can't wait for everyone to hear it."

-Templo

As Templo’s signature sound continues to develop and unfold, the multifaceted artist strives to keep his fans guessing with his ep, Never Say Goodbye, released Thursday, May 12th.

The beginning of 2022 for Templo has brought plenty of new music and a staggering list of shows. His latest thirteen-track ambient album, For Painting Too, solidified his versatility as it stepped away from what we typically expect from a Templo release. This undeniable talent has landed him in support of names like Clozee, Peekaboo, Tripp St., Somatoast, and Esseks, and on festival lineups like Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Dreamscape, Yonderville, and Circus of Life.

Over the course of five tracks, the Never Say Goodbye EP takes listeners on a journey of fluctuating tempos, various moods, and captivating production. “Metaluna” starts the EP off on a high note as luminescent melodies tie together with an unpredictable bass line. The title track, “Never Say Goodbye,” and “Lost,” effortlessly create dreamlike atmospheres using playful tempos and a unique experimental sound. These tracks are also the very first to feature all original lyrics from Templo himself. “Everything You Know” reveals a darker aura and deeper layers, venturing into a realm Templo fans are more familiar with. The EP closes with “Stone Soul,” which ties together the whole project, offering a sampling of all the various elements this EP featured.
